Documentary filmmaker Errol Morris made a TV show in the early 2000’s centered around his invention of the “interrotron”, a device designed to make sure that an interviewer and interviewee can always look at each other’s face.
I’m not sure how well the interrotron worked, but the interview subjects are fascinating and the editing is SO y2k it makes your teeth hurt. A lot of it is on YouTube uploaded in glorious 360p resolution uploaded by Morris himself.
